Between 2000 and 2005, the percentage of women receiving mammograms dropped from 70% to 66%. The IU Simon Cancer Center sought to reverse the trend by giving a quick, easy way to schedule mammograms online. Mammograms were increased by 80%, and thousands of lives were saved.
